Random facts about me in no particular order:
-I’m a sucker for animals
-I love being outdoors and especially like hiking, backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, poking around in the desert, and horseback riding
-As an undergraduate I spent a semester with National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Kenya and Tanzania. The school loans this required were completely and totally worth it
-I am terribly uncoordinated, yet somehow this doesn’t deter me from trying sports and playing them enthusiastically (and badly)
-I am a volunteer Firefighter/EMT in my local fire department
